CENTRO. These enormous gardens are named after the Arabs' war against the Christians in the Middle Ages when they attempted to capture the fortress that is now the Palacio Real. Now, this is a beautiful garden filled with many plants, including some trees nearly 200 years old. There are also two famous fountains in this park, the Tritons Fountain and the Conchas (Shells) Fountain.
