CHAMARTIN.   Army museum that originally was built by King Carlos I as a fortified castle. Site of a Nationalist and Republican battle during the Franco era. Excellent architectural history. METRO: Mar de Cristal. Temporarily closed.   (© 10Best)

This is located in Toledo, at 70 km from Madrid, and of course there isn´t any subway. Toledo is a esplendid and old city, a lot of buildings from the jewish period, the arabian one and of course the medio evo age.
