Run by the cultural division of the La Caixa bank, this enormous, ultra modern science museum is worth the trip from the city centre, especially if you have children in tow. The interactive exhibits cover themes such as the history of the planet Earth, natural phenomena like thunder and tornadoes, and the basic laws of physics. There's also the Toca Toca! interactive section for small children to touch animals; Clik de los Niños where older children can discover hands on about electricity, energy or rainbows; and a bubble planetarium for budding astronomers.
