This munchkin-sized restaurant – its name does, in fact, mean "the closet" – is big on style and Chueca's large gay clientele often fills the comfy red banquettes. The modern Mediterranean menu is mostly Spanish in influence and the dishes come well-presented in the local fashion: on large plates with plenty of arty swirls of sauce, sprinklings of garnish and sprigs of herbs. Try a tower of foie mousse and pear in a red wine sauce, sprinkled with roasted corn dust, or maybe a more substantial risotto of shrimp, clams and fresh green beans.
