All four of us thought this restaurant was excellent for service and food and one of the best we have been to in Madrid since arriving 3 months ago. The clincher was when the bill came, it was only 44 euros each for 3 courses and a digestive plus a bottle of good red wine and 2 bottles of water.
We would all recommend it and go again.

A most worthwhile experience. Not to be missed on a trip to Madrid.

I never miss a chance to eat at Botin in Madrid - especially before visiting as many "caves" (underground wine bars) as possible on the same street (which are also excellent tapas appetizer starting spots as well. I ALWAYS get the suckling pig. Take a look into the kitchen for a view of the smiling faced suckling pigs lined up on plates in preparation for cooking..... UNIQUE! Botin is old and fun and shouldn't be missed! A Mystery Traveler GL favorite!
