5. Imaginarium

A highly specialized toyshop founded in Spain in 1992, Imaginarium now has over 300 outlets all over the world. Famous for its trademark two-door entrance (one for the adults and a tiny one for the kiddies), it stocks a wide range of beautifully made toys for small children aged from newborns up to about six years of age. The emphasis is on learning skills and, of course, imagination, so don't expect PlayStations here. Instead there are brightly colored jigsaws, books, story and song tapes, garden toys, model animals, jewelry making kits, cuddly toys, bath toys and so forth. METRO: Nuñez de Balboa   (© 10Best)
