7. The Yard Seafood and Steakhouse

My family and I celebrated my dad's 60th birthday party at The Yard on February 25,2007. I have to say that the service was terrible, we were seated at 5:00 and our order for dinner wasn't taken until 6:20, anytime we put in a drink order it would take 20minutes before we would see our server again, then she wouldn't even bother to clear the empty glasses. When we finally got or appetizers we had to clear our own dishes as know one made any attempt to do that. When we finally go our dinner they forgot to bring the children "the make your own pizza" so that it could come out with the rest of the food. Not to worry, at least there pizza was hot and that is a lot more than I can say for the rest of our meals which were cold and the portions size small. When it came time for the cake I was giving thanks that we brought our own because it was a long time until we saw our server again, so we helped ourselves to clean forks and bread plates so that we could serve our own cake! To make it worse (as if it could be) I called the next day to let management know of our disappointments and was promised a call back and to date know one has ever called back. So steer clear of The Yard for your important celebrations!
