4. Nashoba Valley Ski Area

WESTFORD.   One of the top ski resorts in Massachusetts, Nashoba can handle well over 10,000 skiers on a given trail. 17 trails are open for thrill-seekers of any age or skill-level, and those not wishing to don skis can opt for a few runs at the Tubing Park. Night skiing is available, but call ahead for details. Warm temperatures don't see things around Nashoba quiet down in the least bit, as visitors can participate in everything from swim club to a volleyball league during the summer months.   (© 10Best)
