1. Codman House

This beautiful Georgian manor, home to five generations of the Codman Family, dates from the 1740s and was nearly tripled in size after renovations that started in 1797. Highlights of this charming country retreat include several family portraits, original 18th century furnishings, and landscaped grounds that boast a formal Italianate garden, English garden, colorful perennial beds, and a reflecting pool. The home is available for private functions and hosts several special programs each year. Groups should call ahead for tour information and reservations.
