1. Patriot's Day Parade

The Buzz -- One of the best days to visit historic Concord, Patriot's Day honors the soldiers who fought in the Battles of Lexington and Concord (April 18 & 19, 1775). Local festivities include the parade as well as reenactments of the Battles Lexington and Concord. The Sunday prior to the parade is highlighted by a reenactment of Paul Revere's famed ride. Patriots' Day and the Boston Marathon take place the same week, making this April weekend one of Massachusetts' most popular, ranking right up there with Labor Day and Memorial Day.
