For years now we have gone to The Wildwood for every special occasion or simply just to be insured we'd have a great meal. The last three visits have been disappointing. We keep going back because we have faith and the food is great. Steaks requested the last three visits were not cooked properly, twice being brought to the table rare after we requested they be cooked medium. We understand mistakes can be made. The first two times the steaks were sent back. What ruined the meals for us was the fact the steaks were taken back to the kitchen, and by the time they were returned to the table the other meal was finished. We tried again last night. I ordered seafood, deciding not to risk a steak. It was delivered to the table cold. My husband's prime rib was delivered med. rare, he requested it med well. He opted not to send it back. The food is superb however, but we suggest if this continues the wait staff bring both meals back and redeliver them at the same time. We spent $150.00 with an additional $30.00 tip. Going out is far too pricey to have this continue to happen. That being said, food is still great and the cocktails are superb.
