GRAND RIVIERE.   On Martinique's northernmost tip sits the tiny seaside village of Grand Riviere, where the privately-owned Yva Chez Vava enjoys a fine reputation as one of Martinique's most well-respected eateries. Serving a bevy of traditional Creole entrées interspersed with a handful of French-influenced side dishes, the family who runs this restaurant has taken advantage of more than three generations of chefs to prefect the likes of vivaneau (red snapper), z'habitants (crawfish), accras (cod fritters), and well-seasoned blaff of sea urchin.
