Fact 1: At slightly more than a half-mile, The Martinsville Speedway is the shortest track on the NASCAR Winston Circuit. Since first opening, the Speedway has grown from 750 seats to the more than 85,000 it boasts today. The Speedway hosts the NASCAR Nextel Series Advance Auto Parts 500 in April and the Subway 500 in October.
