9. Red Sand Beach

HANA.   Although not ideal for swimming, Red Sand Beach in Maui offers a view unmatched by any other beach. As its name suggests, this beach is composed of bright red sands, a result of the crumbling cinder cone hill surrounding the bay. The fiery sand, sparkling water and lush vegetation make this beach a breathtaking Maui landmark. The slippery path leading to the beach should be approached with caution, but once you've made it, you'll agree that the trek was well worth it.   (© 10Best)

It is a wonderful site once you climb around the slippery, narrow path on the side of the mountain. For my husband and I it was just out of this world.You are like you are on a different planet. The beauty is great.
