LAHAINA. This Maui sightseeing landmark commemorates the 50th anniversary of Christian Missionary work in Lahaina, Hawaii. Imported from India in 1873, the Lahaina Banyan tree was planted when it was just eight feet tall. Now, the tree is a whopping 60 feet tall, and contains over 12 thick trunks.
