KIPAHULU.   Charles Lindbergh, the first man to make a solo, nonstop flight across the Atlantic Ocean, spent his last days relaxing in the sun in Maui. Tour his gravesite, located beside the Palapala Ho'omau Church; you will see that it is simple and serene - much like Lindbergh himself was in life. His grave marker quotes Psalm 139 and reminds Maui visitors of his contribution: "If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea..."   (© 10Best)
