2. Aloha Mixed Plate

LAHAINA.   The idea for this Maui lunch locale stemmed from the practice of meal-sharing in the sugarcane fields years ago. Workers from a variety of ethnicities pooled their staples together and all enjoyed a well-rounded, or at the very least, multifarious meal. The Aloha Mixed Plate does the same, serving up traditional plates of Lomi Lomi salmon, Kalbi ribs, Kalua pig, and Chinese roast duck. Each plate is accompanied by two scoops of rice and one scoop of macaroni salad. Enjoy this Hawaiian tradition and an incredible ocean view!   (© 10Best)

DELICIOUS. Try this place early in your visit to Maui. You'll want to go back. Good food, cheap, in a beautiful, peaceful setting.
