KAPALUA.   Perched high above the Maui coastline, the Plantation House is a throwback to vintage Hawaii, when sugar cane was king and hospitality was always first-rate. The view from this Maui seafood restaurant is beautiful and far-reaching, including pineapple fields, the north shore, and the islands Lanai and Molokai in the distance. Native island foods are served with a Mediterranean twist, and this Kapalua restaurant gladly offers a number of cooking styles for their amazingly fresh seafood. This is a fabulous restaurant. Certainly one of the best spots to view the sunset in Maui. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is one of casual elegance. The salads and desserts are phenominal!
