CABO ROJO. Ducks, herons and songbirds are just a few of the winged creatures you can expect to see if you visit this preserve managed by the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Over 130 different species of migratory and non-migratory birds have been sighted here through the years. A one-mile nature walk with descriptive placards, and several miles of hiking trails offer plenty of opportunity to spot many feathered friends. There is also a visitor center and a cactus garden.
