4. Catedral de San Germán de Auxerre

SAN GERMAN.   This Spanish Baroque cathedral celebrates the French patron saint of San German. The yellow plaster building was constructed in 1739 and is most famous for the beautiful blue fresco on the ceiling of the main nave. To see the inside of this landmark you will need to attend Mass – or you can call the priest and see if he will open the doors for you.   (© 10Best)
