5. Yaguez Theater

MAYAGUEZ.   This Mayaguez historic landmark first opened its doors in the early 1900s. The Art Deco style is based on the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. The theater closed in the 1970s but the government refurbished the site and reopened for business in 1994. This is still the best place in the city to see a concert or a play.   (© 10Best)
