6. Melbourne Museum

The Melbourne Museum has six floors packed with something for every visitor, from dinosaur bones and bug exhibits to rain forests and a children's museum. Located on the northern end of the grounds of the Carlton Gardens, this outstanding facility hosts visiting exhibits in addition to its outstanding permanent collection.
