2. Bourke Street Mall

A dizzying array of first class restaurants, charming cafes, shops, art galleries, museums and theatres greet visitors to the Swanston Street area, home of the Bourke Street Mall. The small area between Swanston and Elizabeth Streets is the actual area that's known as the Bourke Street Mall proper. Although small in size, it's long been seen as the epicenter of Melbourne shopping.
