5. Carriage Tours of Memphis

DOWNTOWN.   Want to take a trip through downtown and the historic district old-school style? Then climb into one of the horse-drawn carriages that traverse the city. Carriages can hold up to six people. Call ahead for specific pick-up places and schedules, or hail a carriage at the Peabody Hotel.   (© 10Best)

Admission:

2-6 people $45 / half hour, $75 / hour

after taking several carriage rides with different companies i found The Carriage Co. had the more informative historical tour as well as clean and well maintained carriages

Great for a romantic snuggle, not much in the way of interesting architecture or history.
