6. Germantown Charity Horse Show

The Buzz -- Since 1948, the Germantown Charity Horse Show has brought some of the top horses in the world to the Memphis area. The festivites start on Monday night with a free welcome reception filled with music, activities, and food. Throughout the week, events range from parades of horses in costumes to Tennessee walking horses to the grand prix with $25,000 at stake. Tickets to visit one of the largest multi-breed horse shows in the United States are only $5 at the door and best of all, all proceeds go to charity.
