   EDITOR REVIEW:

GRACELAND AREA.   Second in popularity only to the White House, Elvis's stately home attracts thousands of visitors each year. Eager to see how the king lived, guests can view Elvis's private jets (the Lisa Marie and the Hound Dog II), or they can peruse "Sincerely Elvis," a collection of the famous singer's personal effects. The on-site Elvis Presley Automobile Museum features signature autos and cycles – including a 1955 pink Cadillac and a 1956 purple Cadillac convertible. Before leaving, be sure to visit the Meditation Garden, site of the beloved musical icon's grave. The Platinum Tour includes all of the attractions if you're interested in seeing more than just the mansion.

Tour the house of the King of Rock 'n' Roll, built in 1939 and purchased by Elvis in 1957, to see the vintage car collection, gold records, stage outfits, and the site's mini-museum. (from Southern Living)

See It--And Believe

In later years, Elvis was known as much for his singing as for his sparkly costumes. See them at Graceland.
