DOWNTOWN.
You'll get a huge bang for your buck at this family-run restaurant. What's missing in ambience is more than made up for by the food. Served on paper plates and set on plastic tablecloths, barbecue comes in the form of baby back ribs, regular ribs and sandwiches. A house specialty is scrumptious Cornish game hen.

Too Good!
I am a native Memphian who tried Cozy Corner for the first time on 10/27/2009. The ribs are absolutely fabulous and I wish I'd come here long before now. I was really impressed! The meat is so tender and the barbecue sauce is awesome! Lookout Central BBQ and Blues City!

Superb!
Don't expect atmosphere, or even much of a dining area, but these folks know how to make some BBQ!
This is another of the well-kept secrets (unfortunately) of Memphis BBQ. It's not dry-rub ribs, nor baby-back ribs, as Memphis is often known for, but the more common spare ribs, sticky with sauce. But they are to die for. Forget Corky's and instead do Cozy's!! BBQ that will rock your world!

I spent a long weekend in Memphis in July with a goal of eating great barbecue. I studied the city and came up with a list of local favorites to try and the Cozy Corner was by far my pick. I tried the brisket, pork and ribs and discovered what I believe to be the best barbecue I ate in Memphis. You won't come here for the atmosphere, but you will come for a tender smokey barbecue with a fantastic sause. We ate at Neely's, The Rendezvou and several Beal Street Locations, but none compared. It closes at 7:00 PM so go for lunch or and early dinner before hitting the Memphis Night Life.
