3. Blues City Cafe

Ate there for the first time and found that the food was better than average, but nothing to write home about. I got a half-rack of ribs- I've had meat that was more tender, but the flavor was excellent. Not a meager meal, if you're hungry just not incredibly outstanding.

I guess the tourists won't know any better but.....The food is awful and the waiter I had worse. The band was great. I went last night with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and needless to say, I would NEVER take anyone from out of town there.

Blues City is the best bar on Beale Street. Especially on Sunday nights when FreeWorld takes the stage or when you're lucky enough to catch The Dempsey's playing. This is a must see!

Great ribs, best in Memphis or mid-south. But there is nothing else... jut great food and service. Recommended

This is our favorite place to eat. We never come to Memphis with out eating here! Congratulation on the Food Network visit. I felt like I was watching family!!

Born and raised on Memphis 'q and these guys have the best wet ribs I have ever eaten. The full order falls off the plate and the meat falls off the bone. …This is the place.
