HIGHLAND.
A jovial spirit pervades this Highland eatery, where dishes hail from Italy and other Mediterranean countries. Owner-chef Tony Fenyves and crew have managed to create a loyal following, and it's not uncommon to find diners from neighboring Illinois enjoying bruschetta or a plate of Sicilian-style spaghetti and meatballs. House specials offer the chance to experience something truly Italian, whether it's imported fettuccine with homemade alfredo sauce, four-cheese ravioli with tomato-basil sauce, or sautéed perch Genovese with lemon-garlic butter.

the two five stars rating in 2004 or 2005 are either outdated or overrated. If you rely on user ratings like me, please let it be known on my recent experience. 1. Price, many main dishes are over $15. My best guess on avaerage would be over $22, not $15 listed. And that does not include any salad or soup. 2. Settings. You will be dining on disposable paper, not table cloth for that price. and your table is no more than two feet from next table, on the same row. At 6PM Sunday night, we were the only paying customers, the other three tables are occupied by staff eating food at the same time we do. 3. Some specifics. The $3 garlic bread with olive oil is the same free, cold bread serveed upon sitting down, with a big dish of cold olive oil. Chicken parmeson dish I ordered was too saltty to swallow, for the cheese portion. I would never go back to the restaurant again. Go to Giovanni's at Munster, you won't disappoint.

Anthony's Cafe is incredible! They feature Italian, but they have different specials every month. We just came back from their great Hungarian food! Another great feature is that it is smokefree!

My son had his wedding dinner at Anthony's Cafe Oct 16 2004. The food melted in my mouth and has been haunting me to go back. I have been back again, and again. I have sent many people to Anthony's. I am interested in the wine tasting event. The wine my son and his bride choose where fantastic I wish I would have wrote the names down.
