MESA.   This place is gorgeous and authentic, right down to tile on the floors. Specifically designed to resemble a majestic hacienda in Mexico, the focal point of the four-acre site is the adobe restaurant, with fountains, fireplaces, hand hewn beams, colorful Mexican knick knacks, courtyards and rustic woods; the simply beautiful desert landscaping throughout the surrounding grounds adds to the overall effect, and a garden supplies many of the herbs and vegetables used inside. Authentic, mostly Baja style dishes are on the menu – bright often citrusy flavors and plenty of seafood. Fresh salsas and moles (with more than 20 ingredients) are made on-site every day. The adjacent tacqueria is ideal for take out or a quick meal, and the cantina is great for an after dinner margarita!   (© 10Best)
