This one site gives visitors a chance to view three different cultures located in one spot. Aztec, Spanish and contemporary Mexican architecture meet here. You'll enjoy taking in the remains of the ancient Aztec city of Tlatelolco and the colonial Church of Santiago that dates to 1524. Be sure to note the juxtaposition of ancient culture with the modern Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores (Department of Foreign Affairs) building. This site was also the tragic backdrop to the 1968 protest where Mexican soldiers fired into crowds of unarmed protesting students.   (© 10Best)
