6. Monte de Piedad (Mountain of Compassion)

The national pawn shop, with a name that translates to Mountain of Compassion, supports charitable organizations and also offers short term loans to clientele. The pawn shop has been in existence since 1777 and occupies a building that dates back to 1775.
