HOMESTEAD.   Baffling, mysterious and impressive are accurate descriptors of immigrant Edward Leedskalnin’s 28-year labor of love, the Coral Castle. Florida travelers have marveled at this structure, composed of coral and constructed using primitive tools, and many have sought to understand the motivation behind its creation. The most likely explanation is that Leedskalnin was inspired by unrequited love for 16-year-old Agnes Scuffs.
