SOUTH BEACH.   Established in 1963, the Bass Museum in Miami is housed in the historic 1930 Miami Beach Public Library and Art Center building. Displaying more than 2,000 pieces of largely European art, this South Beach museum diligently maintains the impressive collection of John and Johanna Bass. In addition to European art, the museum also displays works from America and Asia.
