11. Miami Seaquarium

KEY BISCAYNE.   This attraction is known for many things, but most people recognize it as the site used in the filming of the television show "Flipper." The dolphin that was used in the show also calls the park home. Catch a great show by the performing dolphins (Flipper is retired) and the always-popular killer whale performances. There are exhibits of sharks, birds, sea lions, reptiles and several species of endangered animals as well. The manatees at the Seaquarium are part of an effort to increase the number of specimens in Florida. You may even swim with the dolphins – a dream come true experience for kids and adults alike. Depressing! The animals are kept in tiny, cement tanks with nothing to do all day! The killer whale tank is so small, it breaks your heart. Not to mention, the shows are utterly pathetic and all the trainers are just teenaged kids, who don't seem to really care about the animals' welfare. The food is greasy and expensive. Admission is REALLY expensive and so is parking. Seaquarium is outdated and falling apart! You're much better off going to the beach or taking a trip to the Everglades. Miami Seaquarium is a disgrace to the city of Miami!!!

This place is nothing more than prison for the orca and the dolphins. The pool is the smallest I've ever seen. These animals would be better off released back to the wild.
