DOWNTOWN.   With upbeat Latin tunes, colorful decor, a welcoming ambiance and delicious Cuban cuisine, Bongo's Cuban Cafe in downtown Miami is a deservedly popular Cuban restaurant. Miami native Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio own this popular establishment, where meals are prepared according to Cuban tradition and service is friendly and efficient. Try the roasted orange chicken or the Cuban strip steak, and finish it off with a tropical cocktail. Bongo's is a great place to go for dinner, dancing and drinks.   (© 10Best)

Bongo's was quite disappointing. The vegetarian dish included frozen birdseye bag vegetables... nothing fresh. Cuban Lasagna was lacking in the chicken that was supposed to be in it. Sub-standard service.

You do not want to miss this one! Great food, and great dance floor around 11:00 pm. Cuban cuisine only. Try the Desserts Cheese or Queso Flan. A delightful pudding with Coconut. One local couple suggested it, and Boom we were in love. Also, don't worry if its raining, this club has a parking deck. Never get out in the weather to enjoy this spot. Have fun.
