WESTWOOD LAKES.   A trip outside of Miami proper is well worth it to try this establishment's amazing Cuban cuisine. Rio Cristal, a lovely restaurant in Westwood Lakes, offers traditional Cuban dining in Miami with its fresh preparations of grilled steak, black beans, lobster enchiladas and deep-fried plantains. The main concern of this Miami Cuban restaurant is certainly the food, as it’s far from elegantly decorated. Still, Rio Cristal’s friendly ambiance, reasonable prices and low-key digs are quite endearing, and the food is simply divine.   (© 10Best)

A diamond in the rough. This place is Famous for its huge portions of steak serves with rice, black beans (best flavor in town) and a huge pile of home made mini french fries over your steak! Two people can definately eat from one serving. But beware, Its very casual and doesn't have much ambience.
