This restaurant's entrees were overpriced by $10 and the service was horrible. The staff was friendly, but not friendly enough to bring our orders to the table on time. There were far too many staff and too few tables for the inefficiency to occur. The food was good, but was not the Cuban "soul" food we were hoping for.

Deceptive reviews
Yuca comes highly recommended by Latino friends in Miami. Here's the deal -- if you like the atmosphere of Lincoln Road / Ocean Drive and like cuban food -- go. It is obvious from a lot of these reviews on the South Beach restaurants that there is very widely divergent views -- Especially those with no names and that give a restaurant a 1 are probably to be discounted. To be honest, most places don't deserve either a 1 or a five, but my suspicion is that someone is deliberately pranking the eateries here. I don't know if it is one place trying to steal business from another, but I don't believe the 1's for a second.

The Absolute best cuban food ever! The presentation is artfully clever as well. We have eaten food at Gloria Estafan's Larios and it pales in comparison to Yuca!
