COCONUT GROVE.   Baleen is Floridian cuisine at its very best, offering everything from breakfast omelets to a massive buffet to fresh seafood entrees that keep locals coming back every week. This Miami seafood restaurant in Coconut Grove also boasts beautiful views of Biscayne Bay, as well as a lovely outdoor patio dining area, which is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between. Very romantic place, when we were seated at a beautifull table facing biscayne bay, with a full moon that was simply breathtaking, dinner was excellent ,waitstaff was very friendly and knowledgeable, our waiter recomended a great burgundy ,after dinner we walk around the island and the then we decided to have a drink at the firepitt, This place became my favorite place for dinner when i came down to florida,my date agrees

Great place and reasonable food. It has lots of potential; however, management should train better the restaurant staff. They are slow and unattentive.

I cannot imagine how this place gets listed as one of the best seafood restaurants in Miami. The atmosphere is pleasant, if a little rundown. The waiters were amiable but lackadaisical. The oysters were bland, the rest of the food predictable. The bill for a very ordinary meal came to $120. Then we were changed $10 for parking. Baleen must be living off its past reputation. Judging from my visit, I would not even recommend it. And the parking is an insulting rip-off!
