83. Two Chefs

DADELAND.   Like many restaurants in South Dade, this one has an unassuming exterior and is tucked away inside a strip mall. Inside, however, guests are treated to the finest modern American cooking accented with influences from around the world. The upscale dining room manages to look sophisticated while maintaining its comfortable neighborhood atmosphere. The ambitious menu features dressed up versions of classics like meatloaf, which they serve with bacon, honey, black bean sauce and a mound of creamy mashed potatoes. Try California-style pizza from the wood-burning oven or tender gnocchi with foie gras. The wine list is lengthy and offers an excellent selection to complement the flavorful cuisine.   (© 10Best)
