7. North York Moors National Park

This national park includes more than 56,000 acres of Forestry Commission land, with dramatic waterfalls, beautiful trails, and spectacular foliage. The park is a popular destination for people in the Middlesbrough area for picnicking and hiking. The grassland slopes on the banks of the brooks are also very popular.
