3. The Cellar Bar

Next door to the most popular restaurant in town, this club is a listening room for jazz, blues and soul. A popular evening out for area professionals is dinner at the Purple Onion, followed by drinks and music at the Cellar, which is down a flight of stairs in a basement-like room. The acts booked are top-notch, and the environment is dark, smoky and relaxed, with a large statue of Louis Armstrong holding court over the whole facility.   (© 10Best)
