5. The Empire

This venue has been around for seven years and always features popular live acts and rocking theme nights. Outside, the terracotta façade and copper cupolas make this seem an odd venue for wild nights like Planet Pop every Thursday, focusing on funk, pop and house music. The dramatic exterior harkens back to the days when this facility was a British theater, but now it is a hot dance club and music hall.   (© 10Best)
