7. The Brasserie

The Brasserie is certainly worth the fifteen-minute drive or bus ride out of Middlesbrough. Yarm is an attractive, tiny town, and this restaurant, which is located on the main strip, offers fantastic ambience, an open kitchen, a gorgeous stone fireplace, and a small garden open for dining in the summer. The chef uses the freshest local ingredients and focuses on French, Italian, and English cuisines. The menu changes regularly. This stylish, upscale brasserie is highly recommended.
