4. Bastille Days

The Buzz -- The largest French festival in the USA, this free Cathedral Square event celebrates French culture and Bastille Day (July 14th) with parades, dancers and a re-created French marketplace. Excellent dining options, wine tasting and live cooking demonstrations. The festival is appropriately located in East Town, the area settled by French Canadian Salomon Juneau, Milwaukee's first mayor.
