Constructed in 1897, this beautiful mansion was originally a private one-family residence, but it lost none of its charm in the conversion to bed-and-breakfast inn. Very little has changed in terms of architecture, and the mansion retains most of the original details, such as hand carved built in cabinets, a grand staircase balcony, and gas-electric light fixtures. Breakfast is a gourmet affair, complete with entrée, fruit, pastry, and coffee. Seven guest rooms and suites are available, most with private bath.

DOWNTOWN. Built in 1918, this elegant mainstay is named in the National Register of Historic Places and attracts the more seasoned, older crowd. The lobby of this classy hotel is decorated with authentic artwork and antiques. All rooms include cable TV, phone, and computer hook-up, and guests are given free passes to a nearby fitness center which also features a pool. Located 10 miles from the airport. Built in the English Arts and Crafts style, this 1910 mansion still retains many of its original features, such as oak fireplaces, beautiful woodwork and a grand staircase. The four guest suites and one guest room are furnished with antiques, and each has a private bath. On the lower level you'll find a miniature theater, which is home to a small professional theater.

A local favorite, the pub at County Clare serves authentic Irish dishes such as corned beef and cabbage, Irish stew, and Shepherd's pie. The attached inn is equally popular and authentic; the sign out front reads "A Hundred Thousand Welcomes" in Gaelic. Guest rooms are comfortably furnished, with queen-size four-poster beds, private bath with double whirlpool tub and dataports. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive.
