WEST MINNEAPOLIS.   If you’re looking for Minneapolis family fun, Minnehaha Park and Falls are just the ticket. Named for Henry W. Longfellow’s poem “Song of Hiawatha,” the “laughing waters” of Minnehaha Creek cascade 53 feet to form a gorgeous waterfall - the highlight of the 193-acre Minnehaha Park. Unwind after a busy work week by relaxing here; concerts, picnics and volleyball games are common events. Take a dip in the wading pool, play a round of disc golf, or view sculptures like Chief Little Crow as well.   (© 10Best)
