NICOLLET ISLAND. This charming, limestone structure was once a wooden door company, and much of its original post-and-beam construction was retained during renovations. Each guest room is furnished with a desk and sitting area, TV/VCR hidden in a wooden armoire, and queen- or king-sized beds, many of them canopied or four-poster.
