Like one of the other reviewers, I am a BBQ fanatic. I like my 'Q' Carolina, 'Bama, Memphis, Texas or KC style. In other words, I'm not picky. But Scott Ja-Mamas pork sandwich was a disappointment to me. My sandwich was covered in sauce - I mean drenched. If there was any smoky flavor to the meat at all, it was impossible to detect. If I were to go back again, and I probably won't since I didn't like the sauce either (I only tried the hot one -btw, not very hot), I'd ask for the sauce on the side.

Don't waste your time or money. I love ribs and have tried them all over the US. But these ribs were the worst I've ever tried to eat; they were tiny, dry, and had little or no meat. I used the online menu to order 2 full racks for takeout. The cole slaw listed on the online menu was only a piece of whole wheat bread, the online prices were 15% lower than the actual price, and 2 full racks were barely enough for one adult. I'm sure they're great people and they seemed friendly, but the ribs [are horrible]. Don't waste your time.

I felt that the food was much worse than Famous Daves. At 5:30 our meal had been kept too long on the warming tray. The beans were very overdone and dry. Wouldn't recommend it.

Don't look to dine in. This is by far the best BBQ in Minneapolis. Perfect balance between sweet and hot without leaving you feeling like you ate a half a salt lick. BBQ sandwiches as big as your head! High on taste, high on friendly family pride and service. A "wabisabi" feeling in the small front of the business. LOW on price. High value, low price makes this a PERFECT 10!

By far the best BBQ in the Twin Cities. Be careful not to blink or you will drive right by it.
