LORING PARK.   The Oceanaire is a '50s kind of place in the best sense -comfortable booths, Tommy Dorsey tunes, relish trays, informed waiters, and a bar with eight different kinds of oysters. The menu changes daily, and skilled preparations allow fresh flavors to shine through. Seafood dishes often reflect regional preferences, and you can be assured of perfect cooking. Service is exquisite, and huge portions are easily shared (you can also get a half-order).

Fantastic Seafood
I was very impressed. The food was very fresh and top notch. I highly recommend their signature crab cakes. I absolutely loved them. The service was great. Our server never made us wait but he wasn't bothering us every 5 minutes. I really like the atmosphere as well. The '50's decore is fun. This place would be perfect for a special occasion.

The Oceanaire remains my favorite in Minneapolis after many trips. The service and food are always great. If you have your choice of tables I like the bar/front area best, but the back dinning area is equally pleasant...and not as much bussle.
